Almost Alive Lures Flounder is a Striper's <\/u>Nightmare Come Alive. Stripers <\/u>eat "Flounder", "Flatfish" or "Fluke" on a regular basis, a tried and true staple in their diet.  We designed our Flounder in two sizes and three different colors for varying conditions and environments of bottom water fishing. We like them in combination with our Almost Alive Lures Weighted Circle Hooks.  The circle hooks will cause the Flounder to bump the bottom and a make a small cloud of mud rise which catches the attention of fish. They also help send the bait to the strike zone faster and the circle hooks tend not to injure any larger fish as they most often catch in the corner of the mouth. We also like to use a worm hook (like in a Texas rig) or with a normal jig head (Carolina rig) with the smaller Flounder when using more a more finesse style of fishing. This works like a charm when targeting large Flounder <\/u>or Redfish <\/u>on slopes into deeper bodies of water during a falling tide. We designed this bait for Stripers<\/u>, primarily, but we have discovered that many other game fish will eat a small Flounder so rig it, cast it, drop it, jig it, come tight and get the net!!!<\/em><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
